Invalid Toffee

Hard buttery toffee. Its name comes from its popularity with wounded soldiers and veterans, who enjoy its rich buttery flavour as a morale booster. Traditionally, it was sold in large slabs that required breaking with a small hammer but these days it comes as a wrapped sweet.
